We tested three: Fuel Genie, Platinum Gas Saver, and Tornado. Our advice: Don't waste your money. They don’t work.
This isn't news. We've tested such devices over the years and have not found any that improve fuel economy. don't you think that if it was truly that easy to increase fuel economy and horsepower that the car companies would have put them on from the factory? i mean honda is all about fuel economy, and if all you had to do was put in a "tornado", i'm sure they would have put one in...obviously it doesn't work, and spinning the air going into your combustion chamber does not help whatsoever...
i had one on my old crx si with a sri. i didn't gain hp that i could feel but it did raise my mpg which is why i bought it. i got an average of 4-5 more mile per gallon. for the racord, it didnt hurt anything. i had it this was for years

I wouldnt waste my money. There was a guy who was pedaling these things on eBay. They were Knock offs of the Tornado. He basically took a strip of metal and cut 45 degree angles then bent them int so it was like a fan.. It was totally worthless. You could basically do the same thing, get a strip of metal and make one yourself.
