Default Jacket sleeves too long?

I just received my ICON stuff in the mail and the sleeves on my jacket are pretty long.

I know Scarey mentioned that he had circulation problems with longer sleeves, but has anyone else?

The sleeves of my JR Alter Ego are almost as long, but obviously not leather so I haven't had a problem.

I ordered it online, so I would hate to send it back for a smaller size, only to have the smaller jacket fit too snugly. Does the sleeve issue rectify itself while riding anyway?

You're a lucky man actually, try being 6'5 180lbs and trying to get decent gear.

That sucks man.

I am 5'6"/140 and it's really hard since I have a somewhat smaller waist and larger chest. I have to buy bigger stuff to fit the chest, and it's usually too long in the sleeves.

You can get jacket sleeve length altered. Pulling the sleeves up can lead to bunching of the leather, making it more susceptible to tearing if you fall.

How far do the sleeves stick out?

Hmm...if I put my hands at my sides, the sleeves will basically cover all of my paws. However, I really don't think I'd be able to fit into a smaller size, due to the size of my torso.

FYI, to get my Dainese Bora sleeves shortened at Z Custom Leathers in Huntington Beach, because of the kevlar, it was $150.

Ouch. No thanks.

I wonder how bad it'd be to shorten my sleeves; there's armor in it, and the ends of the sleeves are snap-closures. This might be something I just have to suck up.

Probably $100 at Z's. Mine just happened to be $50 more 'cause the kevlar. But they can add a snap to finish it off. Probably won't cost anymore.
