Aboard the Metro-North train this afternoon, going to work, I spotted a very ugly site. I saw a Championship White Type R stripped lying in a repo yard used by a repo towing company in the upper NYC/Bronx area. If someone from the NYC area or NJ area has had their Championship White Type R stolen then I would recommend trying the police impound yard at W. 207st alongside the railroad tracks.

Second integra I spotted was alongside the train tracks as well. It was hidden behind a concrete pillar directly in front of Yankee stadium. It was a totally vandalized and stripped out BLACK Acura integra GSR. My eye would of spotted such an act if it had been there before so this is recent.

If anyone knows whome these vehicles may belong to, please notify the respect parties. It was such a horrific site to see what I saw today. I can't believe the auto theft industry in NY has gotten to the point where it currently is.

Hopefully, these are not casualties of any HT board members. If they are, well here is closure for you.

I used to do construction inspection (project was the resigning of the Deegan). By the Macombs Dam bridge up to the I-95 crossover is dangerous. That area has an abandoned subway station under the Deegan. Wild people, wild dogs, wild everything lives underneath there. Right by the Macombs Dam bridge was a graveyard for cars and along that whole area.

I am not familar with the 207th area.

Blue R send me an email, if you want to take a ride we can. I wouldn't think it is wise to do it alone.

BlueR> The repo yard is DonGlo. It is located right alongside the train tracks of the Metro North trains. Located directly underneath the University heights bridge. Take the Major deegan to the Fordham Rd/ university heights exit and you will see and underpass leading to the yard. It is right under the bridge in front of Jimmy's Bronx Cafe. The underpass is usually manned by NYPD.

 

Let me now if anyone wants to go check these 2 vehicles out. I am really hoping that the typeR is not blue R's.

BlueR never contacted me about taking a look at the CW typeR. When I attempted to take a look at the CW type R, I was informed that it had already been moved (last week) to Brooklyn where it will be auctioned off or used for scrap metal. I had my digital camera ready and was looking forward to posting pics up here, maybe looking for possible identifying marks. To late though. Another type R bites the dust in NYC.
