Default Spoiler not fitting properly

Purchased this replica Mugen wing from another H-T member. It was an awesome deal I just couldn't pass it up. Unfortunately, I'm having some troubles mounting it. It seems the aluminum wing is too long.

I have the option of cutting it but I wanted to make sure I mounted it correctly. Opinions and suggestions welcome.

That's why I have a hard time buying "replicas." Was it off of a DC2?

Have you tried putting the pieces of the wing together and then mounting it on the car?

That's the same thing that happened to me when I tried to put on a "REAL" mugen wing.. I never successfully mounted it.

Then a few years later I picked up an even better "mugen" wing. White rocket, you know what I'm talking about . This one fits like a glove

Good thing, that is not the case.

And Alex, Ed summed up your wing perfectly

can't provide much insight to a Mugen replica...

but the authentic Mugen wing will fit together properly even with your eyes closed.....

Big Phat R will attest to that as would N1-R and zygspeed here..... as I ordered both wings at the same time.....

I'd sell it and get a real one...... just my 2 hk pennies....

Off topic ... but so are most of your comments of late!

Back on topic ... get an authentic Mugen wing.
BTW --- I may be in the market for a real one again, shortly.

PS Looks like it might mount up ok if you put it together FIRST and then mount it to the car!

Looks like it really should fit (if put together off the car and then tightened up during installation on the car).

If not ... let me know how much is enough.
I broke my last one ....

Went to the body shop and the primer was still a tad bit damp so it'll have to wait until tomorrow. I'll definately try to make it fit before I cut.
