Default D16Y7 Idle Air temp. sensor - where does it go?

Ok I ordered an AEM short ram intake for my '97 Civic LX. I went under the hood today to take a peek at how hard removing the stock airbox would be. Doesn't seem to hard, but theres a sensor on the side of the airbox, which i believe is the idle air temp. sensor. I searched high and low for the answer but none of my searches came up with anything. When I take the airbox off and put the new intake on, where do I put the sensor? Is there a place for it on the AEM intake?

Thanks for your help.

EDIT - also, will removing the airbox give a me a CEL?

My AEM CAI on my 99 Si had a place for the sensor.
