How do I remove this piece of dash trim?

with a screwdriver and a flashlight. This is one of those things that's not hard to figure out. It seems like a lot of people are scared to touch their cars without instructions for every little thing.

So the whole dashboard has to come out in order to remove this?

That's the safest way to do so, although if you're good at what you do and you have the proper tools you can do it by removing panels and popping the connections loose through the openeings. It sucks. It's almost not worth it, honestly.

..yeh taking out the dash is gonna make the task much easier..i bought a CX dash and it crazy how sharp the plastic is on the inside. I must have cut myself a hundred times and this was with the dash by ITSELF.. so imagine how it would be in a tight *** spot like that.

i wanted to change that dash trim piece as well.. but i said **** it cause its gonna be a pain

****... lol... well i need to take the guage bezel out too... so i guess this migh tbe a good time to do both. It's just more work then I was hoping for right now. Thanks for the quick replies though guys, i appriciate it.
