Hi, I want to remove the carpet inside my 4th gen Prelude to clean it, I've remove the armrest console, seats; but it seems that I also have to remove the dashboard to be able to take out the carpet.
How do you remove it ? I' ve never remove it and I don' t want to break anything

you dont have to remove it. the carpet wraps around the console under the dash. Just cut it with a scissor. Your're not goin to see that part anyway.

 

Exactly, I had to remove carpet from a 5th Gen., and I had to cut the carpet behind the dash. Other than that, it's pretty easy to remove

I was thinking about that too
but I asked anyway, I thought that maybe it wasn' t that hard to remove dashboard. Yeah I think I'm gonna cut it It 'll be easier

You might be able to get up underneath the dash remove the dash support to the shifter bulkhead. It would save cutting the carpet if it's a big concern.

 

I cut the part that was holding on the front ,
but there' s still one plastic thingy that hold the carpet on the front top left corner on driver' s side, it' s round and have 3 little holes, don' t know how to remove that thing, it' s the first time I see one of those.
How do you remove it please, I don' t want to break it

It' s OUT, I was able to unscrew the plastic thing.
