Hey guys!!!! u won't believe this!!!! Sac Police department called me and notify me that they found my crx.!!!! They gave me a number to call cause it's at a tow yard. when i got off work i went straight there and talk to the dood that's there and check out my crx. I was hoping the engine would be there and that it runs or i won't even pay to keep it. We'll turns out. The engine is still there. My AEM intake is still there also!! Which was weird cause they took my DVD/MP3 head unit + brain and took my front door speakers ( they were BOSE ) and took my BMW **** ***. Other than that, the Rear speakers is still there? And i ask them was anyone caught and the dood said 3 mexican teenagers. That's the good news. The bad news was, it was stolen from where i work downtown, and they park it at another place at downtown near a METER and it expires and the parking faggets out there wrote me 6 tickets for EXPIRE METER. They are 25.00 each.!!! I will fight this. So for now, Looks like i'll be coming back to Honda Tech. YuPp. That's all.

FD is gonna be a cruising car. not for racing. want it to last forever. it's very rare don't wanna touch anything gonna leave it stock. But as far as the crx. the ongoing project begins.

Glad to hear you found your car with engine and mods intact! Your one lucky girl! I'm sure you won't be held accountable for those tickets once you show evidence of it being stolen ie. police report etc.

 

what kind of charges are you going to put agianst those *******? get your **** back, Get restution, make sure there not illegal aliens, if they are send them back to mexico.

If they dont play by the rules in USA they dont belong here.

 

thats right man, if they found the thieves, you can press charges and say you want all your **** back they stole. or money for it(even better i think).

As a penalty to car thieves/vandalizers, victims should be able to go into their thief's home and pick out a few items that they want to take home.

As for the tickets, I am there is a police reporting stating the date and time at which it was stolen, bring that to a court or a police station and I am sure they will rid of the 6 parking violation tickets.

i usually pull my ECU when i leave my car in a place im not comfortable with. A tow truck can still take it, but for some shumk just trying to jack a car.... the chances of him having an ECU to make the car run is highly unlikely.

 

I went to downtown and told them about the ticket issue and i had the police report and the old lady dismissed all of the tickets. As for everything, it's all good now.

I'm wondering what insurance company are you guys with?
On star offer me a deal for 1,472 dollars for a year. which covers everything.

sweet!!! yeah i hated when mine got stolen.. they said i couldnt come get it because it was undrivable!!! i was like WHAT!!!!??? i was so worried the whole time it took them to tow it to my house... but turns out that they stole the steering wheel which is why it was indrivable... whew

newayz, just insure the car for what its worth, that way if they take it again, you won't get SOL...

And What's this about you getting an FD? What year and trim is it? I used to own a 93 R1 until it had a little run-in with a brick wall. If you need any help with the FD let me know. I can help you out with minor troubleshooting, or if you need somebody to help you change your oil or sparkplugs I can show you how. Or if you need some tips on how to install a water temp gauge, boost gauge, or a downpipe I can help you out there too. I even have my 93 workshop manual and if you want it you can have it (if you have a 94-95 you dont want it though).

EDIT: oh yah, I also have a ITR copy titanium shiftknob and if you want it I can mail it to you free of charge. I'll even include an oven mitt for your right hand so you can drive the car around on those hot days hehehe.
