I got these corner lights off of ebay and they are supposed to be for a CRX. I know the 88-89s have screw holes on the side and 90-91s do not. The guy says they are from a CRX but I'm not to sure. I think they are off a civic but I thought I would ask HT who knows more than me.

i ve seen alot of people end up with those lights off ebay i think they are for a civic sedan 88-91 not sure tho.

 

Looks like a 88-89 Sedan corners, I'll see if I can get some measurements.

I was going to get measurements but I dont have anything to measure with around here

I'll get some later on at my bud's if I remember.

 

i'd have to guess 88-89 sedan too. not positive

It is. That was the one I was trying to replace cause it is so nasty.

my brother has a 91 hatchback, and he just got some new corner lights....we cant figure out how to take out the lights? any help?

 

I think u need a little more help if you cant figure out how corners come out, take 10 mins and look all around it, not too hard.

 

just slide them forward. grab the edge closest to the door and slide them toward the front bumper. they should slide off.

 

You should demand a refund Geoff.

 

for the record / to confirm:

those are for 88-89 sedans. the 90-91 look the same but no screw holes and slide on, with one screw holding them on.

 

all 88-89 civics had those corners, not just sedans. all 90-91 civics had the flush ones.


to remove the 90-91's:
on the inside upper corner of the lens (on the "frame") -- there will be a single screw. loosen this. the light will then slide forward. DONT be rough with it - because remember, your lights are still plugged in. twist the housing to release the bulb from the chamber.

the sedan and hatch corners are different. the sedan corners end up being just a tad bit longer than the hatch corners on all years
