I am quite sure I can remove the head, however, I was reading a faq, and it shows something I don't really want to mess with. It has the guy showing to loosen all the valve springs? Is this right?
it was the one from lightnin motorsports BTW

I don't know jack about DOHC heads but I know SOHC. For the SOHC, you'll need to remove the valve covers to access the 10 14mm bolts. You'll need a breaker bar and a 14mm socket.
Refer to BauleyCivic's Mini-Me write up for head removal. Better yet, go buy yourself a Helm's or FSM or equivalent

You don't need to mess with the valves or springs when pulling the head. After you re-install the head its a good idea to check your valve clearances, but you DO NOT need to touch the springs when pulling the head.
