anybody know wiring on passenger side of 92 prelude s?
my friend and i were drilling through the firewall on his 1992 prelude s yesterday to install power wire for his stereo system.. while i was drilling through i believe that i through some of the main wiring in the car because i did not realize that it was so close to where i was drilling.. i found the wiring and opened up the casing that holds the wiring tightly.. it seemed as though 6 wires were disturbed.. the problems with the car are: ignition will not work (car and motor will not turn on), power windows do not work, air,a/c, heat will not even turn on, dash lights, gas guage, engine temp guage etc. will also not turn on/illuminate.. three of the wires that seem to be frayed were white and thicker than the rest of the wires, one of them was totally split and was black with green, and the other was a thin black wire.. does anyone know anything about this and could please help out! it would be very much appreciated and also can i solve this problem by just snipping all the ruined wires and soldering in new pieces of wire? PLEASE HELP!! with any knowledge or advice or ways to fix the problem, thanks a lot guys.

Why don't you just patch the broken wires? I would use crimp connectors, but soldering works too.

well yeah, that is what i was planning on doing and i was going to solder and shrink wrap.. but i am also just looking into the problem futrher and trying to figure out the color combinations of the ruined wires to see which wire controls which part of the car.. i was seeing if anyone knows if the true reason the car and some of the features arent working is really because the wires are broken or if ti could be something else causing the car not to work.. as i said.. i didnt touch anything else besides drilling through the firewall and i just really feel bad for my friend because he has no car as of right now and i just want to get this problem fixed.. thanks again guys.. keep postin

Well, I'd think one at least of the thick whites are the ignition wire, and if that's cut none of the electrics should turn on period.
