trying to locate this on my type-s and can't find any info in the honda workshop manual either. for base model, the coolant drain plug is on the right of the oil filter (as per manual) but not on the type-s. location with pic or diagram would be great. am assuming that refil procedure will be the same ?

IIRC, it's right under the radiator. There should be a little hole and a screw/plug.

Edit: the drain plug is #2.

 

thanks. i am aware of the radiator drain plug and should have specified the block drain plug instead. i want to clear the engine of all traces of old coolant.

I believe the Helm implies there isn't one for the S/SH block.

 

this is a bit of a bugger.... there has got to be one somewhere
