not sure what flew out of my muffler?
I was in second gear and i wasn't paying attention to my speed, since that is the only way i can gauge when i should shift since i don't have a tach, when i hit the rev limiter. As I bounced off the limiter I heard like a snap/popping sound, and then my friend, who was following me, said that something metal flew out of muffler. Now I am skeptical on the fact that it was something metal, because if something metal did fly out of muffler then i'm pretty sure i wouldn't be able to drive my car. However, despite whatever flew out, my car is functioning as normal, but it's just erking me as what it could have been, any ideas?
did you go back in look in the general area
more that likely the friend is seeing things
you would hear metal going thru a metal exhaust secondly what type of muffler do you have str8 thru or chamber twin loop....?

Yeah if you're running a cat I don't see how anything before the cat would fly out of your exhaust unless it smashed its way through the honeycomb which is very unlikely.
i did hear something "clink" but it was just once, it didn't sound like it went throught the all of the piping. Oh i have straight through.
