tps question

Default tps question

if the tps is not calabrated properly would it make the check engine light come on because i have the code poping for it and i changed the sensor but never calabrated it let me know thanks

Yes it would. The TPS, if not calibrated could be sending the wrong voltage signals to the ecu.

yes, You want it to read.5v closed 4.5-5v fully open

There are three wires for that sensor on my ITR sensor. Which should show the .5V? Mine is focking up a lot lately and I never have fixed it right.
