mystery wires
ok, so when i bought my 91 sedan, there were 2 wires running to my positive battery terminal with a weird plug on the terminal. looked stock. one day, i pulled them off and nothing happened. well, after taking all the AC wiring out of my engine bay to do a wiring tuck, im left with these two wires hanging there, not knowing what they are for. they are about 12-14 gauge, one is white and red, the other is white and green. i cant really trace them because they head into the main harness in the interior.
another problem, probly not related; after the wire tuck, my stereo and cigarette lighter are not getting ignition power. i have traced this problem to the fact that the Cigarette lighter relay is not getting ig. hot power through the yellow/red wire that powers it. the fuse is not blown, and without my DMM here at school i cannot tell if it is a problem before or after the fusebox. weird thing is, i never disconnected any wires that would affect the radio or cig. lighter.
any help is appreciated,
Thanks,
Parker
