100 dollar crx 14.8 d16a6 engine 10 dollars of walmart white spray cans...project daily beater
So here is my new crx i put together out of a 88 si and 90 dx. Its going to be my new car since we are running turbo 4 with my other car and its down right now getting a roll cage and a few other things done to it. I just got some hf seats and the engine put it in. I also got the rear quarter window installed today. And in the process of painting the car and fixing rust. I got 2 new quarters to install. All it needs is carpet and a new front window and it will be ready to go. 100 bucks for a crx that runs isnt bad. 
Its not fast but that engine i have in it went 14.8.

I would have left the hood as is...haha
Anyway for a hundred bucks you can't beat that. Plus it has a fairly quick motor in it.

thanks for the response it runs mid 15s on street tires. So I can live with that and 14.8 was on slicks. :D

lol i'd laugh if i saw that thing (obviously cheap and junky) with slicks (obviously for fast cars)...

There was just enough left of the body to hit with some paint. Doesn't rust suck. Nice project!

i dont know what you mean by that slicks are a good thing when your going to learn to launch a car...it dont matter if your running 14s or 10s...learning to launch any car on slicks is good....Maybe you were being silly i dont know...

keep is safe, make sure breaks/balljoints/c arms and such are in good shape b4 raising too much h3ll

yeah i did fix all the suspension im driving the car till my little bro turns 16 then im giving it to him...think we might turbo it then once he pulls a 14 on slicks. :D

I have a buddy who loves to buy $100 hondas and just go to town with spray painting them and what not. And then try to sell them for a grand........

He said slicks so that's like half a second over street tires with a good driver.
