silencer is a must!!! i had decided to install a highflow cat to replace the test pipe cuz that shiz was too loud even with the silencer. one day i even lost it and i took me a couple of hours in the night, IN THE NIGHT mind you to find the silencer. trust me the silencer is worth it. but this is just my experience

From my experience with silencers, they quiet down the noise on the outside of the car a **** load, which is good for the sake of not getting a ticket, however, inside the car it is still loud as ****. Just my experience...

hi everyone...I'm a newbie

I've bought a specII exhaust too

here it is

and this is how the "silencer" looks like...

ahahaha

the exhaust is not on my car yet

I've put the silencer into my tenzo type5 muffler,..and it seems to "work"...
but, don't think it will do a lot on the the spec 2...

I don't know...

I'm going to mount the spec II this week,...if you'd like, I could do and post some vids of it on my EG6....with and without the silencer

bye

3.0 inch exhaust setup on a N/A application ?? hmm..

I had a jun head, prospeed header with 2.5 inch merge, catless with a big *** resonator and the buddyclub prospec on my car. and good god it sounded like an indy car merging on the freeway. had to have my stereo at half volume to hear anything.

This was on a H22, but god damn.

It is.

The silencer does make a difference... not much... but some.

yes, TAIL SIZE is 76.3mm but the PIPE is 60.5 mm...(and both are "outer measures")

I think that in these kind of exhausts the measure that count is the pipe one...then, if the "non-silenced" tail is 3" or 5"..it shouldn't make any difference!...

I think they made it like this to give the silencer a meaning

...(the inner size of its silencer is 34 mm)
