Default no spark, fuel pressure.maybe bad computer?

alright i have 94 sol si stock.ran fine for bout a month.go out driving and car runs fine.park, and come out hour later to car and no start(was blowing fuse for radio and acc.,pennys grounded out cig lighter ).towed home.checked dizzy to see if igniter or coil was bad.bad power readings.so order remaned dizzy(didnt get new cap or rotor though) .dosent change anything.so check with guys at work who suggest the main relay because of no spark or fuel pressure.same as before,no change!so now check fuel pump and no power to it,unless i jump the wires for it from main relay(reading around 12 volts).so now just out of curiosity change pump to see if it at least works.huuuh, again same outcome,no change!!!!!! so now im stuck with changing the ecu cuz maybe blowin the fuse damaged it also, dunno. SO IF ANYONE HAS ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE LET ME KNOW. CAR HAS BEEN OUT FOR ALMOST TWO WEEKS.

THANX

P.S.-guys i work with r techs at hall acura in vb.

swap out a known good ecu first then look at the main relay.

i had the problem with no spark and it was the dizzy but if you have no fuel pressure, i would check with a ecu that does work.

what kind of car do you have.

someone correct me if I'm wrong, but here's teh thing, if the car's cranking, that means there's juice in the batt, if there's juice in the batt, that means there should be enough for it to spark ... therefore the alt doesn't do anything just yet

your alternator makes the power usable and keeps the motor from draining the battery when its running. It can affect starting

I agree with everything you said except the starting part... the motor is not running just yet, it's TRYING to run, therefore shouldn't be relying on the alternator

I've heard many times of cars running with bad alternator's, thinking their battery failed, where in reality it's the alt, and they only find out after swapping it with a good battery and having it do to the same...which only means 1 thing...the car ran with a bad alternator
