hey, i've got a '97 GSR b18c1 complete engine sitting in my garage (sittin here for about a year) it is in PERFECT condition but needs a new Crankshaft.
Talked to Honda about installing a Crankshaft in her, they want $1000 for the new crankshaft and $1000 for the install.
Thoughts? seeing as thought the engine is sitting right here, is it "easy" to install a new crankshaft like the one your selling?
i'm interested in buying it if it is.
Thanks

it actually easy if you are somewhat mechanically inclined. ive rebuilt two ls motors and they run great. the crank i have needs the help of a micropolishing rag, or better yet; you can take it to a machine shop pay about 150 bux to get all the journals machined to the same diameter, knife-edge, balance, and micropolish all of the journals. thats what the local machine shop told me. thats what i was goin to do with it and i have a b20 block that i was going to use it with.
