Changing Rear O2 Sensor?

Changing Rear O2 Sensor?
Finally got my car up high enough to get to the Rear O2. But I need to know if I need to remove the Cat. cover to take out the O2 sensor or am I missing something? I can't get to the Sensor's base to unscrew it... I've google'd and everything.. anyone done it care to share how they've done it? Thanks
