Pull the code then post back and we can try and help you. If you hydrolocked it it wouldent be running at all depending on how extensive the damage is. Pull that code! Also a little bit of water wouldent cause a hydrolock. do you have a cold air intake or stock intake box ?

what year is your lude?

On a 5th gen its on the passenger side footwell underneath the radio there is a pull-away peice of carpet. You will find a 2 pin BLUE connector there that you can jump with wire or paperclip.

If it's a fourth gen....it should be the same thing, just on the driver's side and behind the radio - i used wire, i also used a paperclip before....both should work....get that code!!!

then ya its behind the radio...and its the second plug in from the drivers side..just pull it out and put like someone said above, a paperclip or a wire(any)...stick it in both sides turn ur car one..a short blink of the engine light is single digit code and long are double digit codes...search it to get a better understanding of what im talking about.. good luck
