USDM Honda Civic's with the USDM Front Bumper with fog lights? Anyone have pics? Has it been done? Thanks

damn, i saw a writeup on this a while back , but i couldnt find it. Basicaly the kid just made a template and cut holes in his bumper .. then L braket'd them in. It looked clean, sorry i couldn't help more.

 

Actually there was a kit from the dealer. If you look at the back of the bumper directly under the headlights, there is a drawing / template of where to cut. It's the same with most Hondas. When the 2000 Si came out my friend bought one and after about 4 months he ordered the foglight kit and I installed it. I basically followed the drawing etched on the back of the bumper skin and used a dremel to cut it out. My 2003 Accord has the same thing.

 

I don't believe there was any outline on my Sedan, but I will give it a look.

 

You talking about what i got???? it actually comes as a factory option however those lights in there rigth now wernt the factory amber ones

The sedans do have an outline. I've used it to mount some OEM style fogs.

Those fogs do not look like EF factory fogs. They're probably either an older set of Civic fogs or they are aftermarket.

I'm using '89 (can't remember the exact year...somewhere right around there...88/89/90) Prelude Foglights. They're very attractive.

They're kind of hard to find in good shape though.

 

ive seen it but its hard to do .
