im looking into getting a suspension set up for the eg hatch and im looking at kyb agx and possible h&r race or some skunk 2 for my springs. i wanted to know if the agx have the little cup on the bottom of it i seen the agx for a sentran and they had a cup on the bottom that had to be cut of in order to make it lower with coil overs...unlike the konis which are straightand they just fit on the over... some one please explain to the newb and also will i beable to take either suspension i pick and use on a 5 lug conversion?????

I've owned the kyb agx's for 4 years, they were great shocks for the 6-7 months they lasted. They dont like to be lowered any more than 1.5 inches, and they dont hold up well to having burn outs being done on them or any potholes hitting them up quickly...

Yes, AGX's have that cup thing welded on them while Koni's are straight.
