When everybody buys it, does everybody wonder why the shifer came with a larger hole in which the bolt doesn't snuggly fit through it?
In response to the description, this isn't true as it doesn't include the spherical bearing. I bought Evasive short shifter some time ago, and the intructions that came with it isn't quite proper. At first I didn't know what to do with the supplied red "O-rings, looked useless at the time. After my install, my shifter was rather noisy-- it rattles when i cruise in 5th gear. Couldn't stand it anymore I decided to swap in a stock shifter I got from a friend. As i was taking it out I noticed the bearing from the stock shifter could be removed from the housing. I took it out and test fit it on the "evasive short shifter" big hole. and wow it fitted perfect! I also realized the little red O-rings is to replace the stock black ones found on the stock shifter bearing.
Basically, you gotta take out the stock shifter's bearing, replaced the O-rings with the supplied red ones(unnecessary), transfer it into the new short shifter. Trust me, after this, this shifter much more smooth, and eliminated the rattling!
