Default Flashing an ECU for a K20A3

Hey guys. I have a Civic Si, 2002. Its got a K20A3 Manual.

I was wondering if it was possible to flash the ECU just at home. If so, what would I need, and were would I get the stuff?

You need to get Hondata to reflash your ECU.

u could flash it at home. take a camera flashbulb. *FLASH*.

what did you think? you could plug it into your USB on your computer and just load in a new program? what new program would you load in?

send it to hondata. they're the one that has the $10,000 machine that does reflashes. and they have the new program that makes yer car run better.

Or, get the KPro for $1000 (also from Hondata) and program it yourself. Better know what you're doing, though.

Google for the reflash. You will find it for the Auto Si. Download it. Then reprogram it with the reflashing software. Use a usb cable to connect your comp to your car. Reset the ecu, and your set.

you are not mistaken

Si's have the K20A3 motor. which only slightly differs from the base RSX K20A3 motor. the Si K20A3 uses the typeS K20A2 intake manifold. everything else is just like the base RSX K20A3.
