Default H23 aem cam gears on a h22 engine

I bought AEM cam gears when I had a H23 in my lude now I just swapped a H22 engine and I want to know if I can just swap them right over or will I have to buy new ones

They're the same part number. They'll fit. Don't double post, it annoys the **** out of everybody.

EDIT: nevermind, they're not the same part number. They won't fit.

H22 is different.

Exactly. They will DEFINETLY not fit the H22.

im in the middle of this right now, they should bolt to the cams, then if you swap the h22 waterpump or waterpump gear for the h23 one, and swap the lower drive gear it should work with the h23 timing belt

regaurdless of the engine a 4 cycle engine must maintain a 2:1 drive where the engine rotates 2 times 720* for ever 1 revolution 360* of the cam.

in theory if you do the above it will work

The H23 cam gears will not physically fit the H22 cams. You can turn the cam mounting points (journals?) down and regrind a keyway and have them work but otherwise if you have an H22 engine installed in your car and you have H23/B-series gears, you can't just simply put them on and go.

thanks for clarifying that, so if you get the gears to fit the h22 cams, then you can follow my above instructions and it will work,
