Default VAFC basic setting's

my friend just installed the first gen VAFC in his 99 Si civic , I know he needs to take it to a dyno to have it being do anying benefit, but he needs to have his car be able to drive to the place to tune it.
We did the first intial precedure were u have to hold the trottle at WOT, and close Trottle, but when we start his car it runs funny, its cutting out past 2000 rpm, like its not gettin enough fuel, Is this normal for when u first install a vafc? what do we need to do to get it runing decent so he can get it to a dyno?

Wtf, its not supposed to do anything.

You wire it up and go. Sensor 06 in, 06 out, 4 cyl, upwards-right throttle.

Whats the deal?

Was it used? Did you initialize it after installing before setting?

Sounds like you wired it up wrong, VAFC's dont affect **** when you first install them correctly

Double check your wiring, its not wired up correctly.

Make sure you dont have a pervious tune on there. Make sure everythings on 0 and that you did the throttle set up correctly (10 seconds WOT, 10 seconds off, turn off turn on).

thats what im thinking,

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Luserkid &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Make sure you dont have a pervious tune on there. Also i will see if the previous tune is on there still. , but yet we did all the intial settings before u turn the car on, with the WOT and Closed throttle.
