Default Full size spare tire?

Here's a question. I'll be rolling on 15" wheels and I have my old set of 14" steelies. Would it be better to replace the small spare tire/wheel with a full size 14" wheel?

In other words; is it safer to drive with three 15 inch wheels and one 14 inch wheel, instead of three 15 inch wheels and the small spare doughnut?

safer?? depends on if you follow the rules of a spare tire. i would do it if i had the extra larger rim.

if you got tires with a lower profile on the 15 it should be close to the same size radius as the stocks

the spare has no speed rating hence the temporary use badging, i think it would be safer rocking a steelie than the donut.

i agree, have you ever drove on those oem spares? feels really sketchy just doing 35+ . go ahead and replace with a steelie if you can spare the extra weight
