i have a d16y7 right now and looking into a catback exhaust setup. i plan on going turbo or maybe a b16 swap into my ek coupe just wondering if the exhaust i chose fit any of those applications or if it will effect it or even fit.

 

with turbo, the most common exhaust is 3" piping. most catbacks are 2.25 or 2.5" and can work with turbo setup.

with a b16, it wont affect it muchseeing as the EK exhausts dont discriminate between the SI and EX,LX,DX,or other models.

you can get a better variety of exhausts if you switch to a Y8 exhaust manifold because it moves the cat to the underside of the car rather than on the header itself.

i would decide if you want a turbo setup or swap first, then look into exhaust
