Making an 89' Prelude look better...
I've got an 89 prelude, here are some pics:

as you can see, it's not the most visually apealing car you've ever seen
I was wondering if you guys had any *cheap* (<$300) ideas, mods, ect. that could spice up the the look of my lude.
Thanks in advance

$300.00 won't get you far in the looks dept. What I can say is build up a little better budget and get yourself a nice wheel/tire combo and some lowering springs. That'll be a good start and give it a better stance. Good luck.
i love this generation prelude. 300 is a hard budget to work with. i'd say the first thing to do is make sure the car is up to par with its maintainance. after you complete that, look into a good wheel/tire combo and lowering the car. when i had my 88 si 4ws, i had it lowered on skunk2's and i had 99-00 civic optional dual 5 spoke 14" wheels. i loved how it looked. if you do decide to go with the simple lower and wheels route, i'd recommend looking for an oldschool type wheel since the car is old school. find something that fits the generation of the car. i'd also say to lower the car alot, but not enough that you'd have to take off the mud flaps. you should also find a nice looking exhaust that keeps this old school look.
these cars are very under-appriciated, but those who do like them really like them. just make sure that if you do decide to modify this car, to do it right. also, please dont tear up the car.
