I know I posted a topic earlier of what to do with $3k for my prelude...well...it's now $9k and my dad wants me to look at another possiblity before I start blowing the $$$ on my car. I want to put the money in my lude but to oblige my dad; I'm going to spend this week looking at other cars.


What are some decent cars that I can get for $8-9k? B/c I have a prelude now; I want something like it if I get another car instead.

haha. parents suck but they're the ones giving me the extra $6k on top of my $3k. If I don't find anything (which I doubt I will) i'll bump most of it in the prelude. I just wanted to look around before I make that final commitment....if I do this I'll be driving the same car for a while.....(kind'a sounds like someone's getting married..."If I do this I'm going to be with the same woman and that's it.")

 

nissan s13 or s14 (240sx)

torquey truck engine... nice exterior styling, rear wheel drive, many parts, sr motor.

if one of my best friends didnt have one...i prob would.

 

i would go with a s13 or s14, then later on you can drop in the SR20DET and a big *** turbo....and you should be fine

 

Turbo a 240, 2nd gen MR2 turbo....
