Any recommendations on what blade to use with a hacksaw cutting steel?
Alright weapons of choice.
I dont want to use this because the disc is too thick and it will damage the mount due to the design of the disc. So I started using a hacksaw and got really far... problem is thats a lot of ******* elbow grease to accomplish my goal.

I dont even know what kind of blade this is but it looks like It was made for cutting tree's when I started with it and now its finally down to these nubs you see now. I was wondering if I should get another hacksaw blade with big teeth on it like so or if I should find a different type of hacksaw blade. Any recommendations would be great guys, this seems to be working so far, just a lot of work.

This thing has two solid rivits going through it and it has some kind of metal in between it holding it to this rail. I need to saw all of these off so I can mount them in my car, reposition them and then weld them into place so my new found seats will drop in my car.
As you can see I got a decent amount of work done... but this is 6 hours worth of on and off sawing, I come back to it after my right arm doesnt feel like its going to explode.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I swore I posted this **** this morning, guess my wife distracted me when I hit the reset button on my computer. ARG!!!

I use a variable speed jigsaw with a fine tooth metal blade or a dremel with a reinforced metal blade for small area cutting.
lol, I made that same cut in about 1.5 min with a sawzall. sucker
That was because I was too lazy to drill out the rivits..which is what you should be doing it looks like. If you must use the hacksaw just get a 14tpi bi metal balde.

Elbow grease takes time. I'm not going to sit at work for 5 hours cutting off a bracket that would take 5 minutes to remove with the proper tools.
I'd love to see someone justify that to a customer. "Oh, there's an extra $350 on that invoice because I had to saw off this one bracket for 5 hours at $70 an hour."

Not everyone has access to tools like that.
I don't see why an angle grinder with a cutting disc would not work, the disc are pretty thin and you can get some accurate cuts.
If not get a different hack saw blade design to cut metal.
