Trying to figure out my little problem with my Integra, I picked up a new cap and rotor the other day. I happen to have some tools in my car so after I work I tried to swap it out before I left.

I couldn't get the rotor to face the correct direction to get access to the screw. My question is.. can I crank the engine a little with the dist cap off? My guess is I shouldn't but I didn't want to remove the dist. because I don't have a timing gun to correct it.

So, since I couldn't get the rotor in place I just swapped dist caps for now.
