question bout installing rotor

ok i was replacing my cap and rotor.. no big deal. then when i was pulling off the rotor the metal insert pulled off. what do i do?

Im assuming its the little pin. Look for it or buy one from someone here in H-T

Are you saying that when you pulled the rotor off the metal insert stayed on the distributor?

yup that be correct. i tried getting it off. but no luck. any ideas. pull harder?
