Default Just switched from stock fuel line to ss line with compression fittings (more)

Last night I switched my stock fuel line from the fuel filter to the rail to ss line with compression fittings. I started it up and checked for leaks everything is dry. I noticed when I first turn the key on and the fuel pump primes then stops the pressure goes up to whatever I have it set at then drops back down to zero. When I start the car up it starts up fine and the pressure stays constant. But when I shut the car off it drops back down to zero. I was wondering is this normal when you put the ss lines on and the compression fitting? Also the fuel pressure guage is mounted on my fpr.

I am thinking this is fine b/c the car is not running so the fpr should not be seeing any pressure. Is this correct? Or do I have a small leak somewhere that is maybe leaking pressure but not fuel?

the fuel is being returned to the tank. the fpr wont hold the pressure....it just slowly passes back through the return line.
