Default Can I rewire obd1 distributor to work with an OBD2 harness?

Can I rewire obd1 distributor to work with an OBD2 harness?

For example... can I cut the *2* OBD1 Distributor plugs off and use the *1* obd2 Distributor plug from the obd2 distributor. It has the same amount of total wires. But I dont have the helms manual telling me which wire is which. And some of the wires are different colors....

So any help here guys-

Sorry the reason behind all of this is I am replacing my blown b18c (obd2) with a JDM b16a (SIR2)(obd1). And on my harness I have a large 10 plug Distributor plug vs. the 2 part distributor plug on the b16a. So can I use the plug from the gsr dizzy on the b16a dizzy?

so that Rywire distributor harness is for puting an obd-1 distributor on a obd-0 engine, like a 1st gen b16?

But what about if i wanted to put on a obd-1 distro on a obd-0 engine to swap in a obd-2 car? Will that harness work or will i have to completely rewire the distro wiring?

Hey just pack this under the hood and no more Distributor problems.. No one will even notice the blower sticking out of the hood.

They are both the same inside, just rewire the distributor plug to match the harness or vice versa.

Yup rewire the 4P, 2P and 4P to 8P and 2P for OBD1 and its done. I did it this last week on an Accord.

There is no need to get any adapter harness. De pin it and repin it to an OBD-2 plug. Its as simple as that.
