Timing done either dizzy or via fuelmangment

I got my vac from the brake boost line on the firewall.

Vac should be taken from the intake manifold, not the brake booster. Taking the vac from the brake booster is dangerous. You can T off of any vaccuum source coming from the intake manifold. I suggest a vaccuum manifold to do it clean.

it is fine to tee off the brake booster. where do you think vacuum manifolds get their vacuum source from eh?

I t'd off from the fuel pressure regulator, that to my bov, and for my wg i used the fitting off my turbo....the fmu will get you by at low boost, but look into uberdata, and turboedit if your obdo for tuneing.

retard timing at the distributor a few degrees, or get an msd btm (but u can get other management for the same price). dont run too much boost without proper timing retard, hondas really dont like that.

run the wastegate from the brake booster BEFORE the check valve. the wastegate should be the only source off that vacuum line. bov and boost gauge can come off the fpr vacuum line

What year Ls motor are you installing the kit? Just to let you know uberdata or hondata is good resource to chipping your ecu. Honestly, I dont recommend getting vacuum from brake booster. Get it from intake manifold. uberdata or hondata could be used as fuel management. I am currently boosting with greddy TDO5 turbo and chipped ecu with uberdata.

Here is a pic of my setup if you look closely on the back of my intake manifold you can see where i tee'd off of the brake booster to my vacuum manifold. I have had it like this for a while and have seen no negative side effects and many people here run it that way.

get a vacuum manifold. looks a lot clean. as far as retarding the timing, you do that with a timing gun and turning of the dizzy. ditch the FMU and get better fuel management.
