Garden Grove, CA Spotted Last weekend along the 22 Freeway was this group of famous West Coast Honda Challenge racers changing a tire. Obviously traveling incognito to avoid fans and groupies, they were driving a beater Honda Civic hatchback. The vehicle was described by one observer as "a total piece of ****." Sources within the group say that moments before the poorly maintained and overloaded car went down to the rim, driver and former WCHC H1 champion, Andy Hope, was heard to say, "Hey, what's that noise? Must be Bernardo's car." Miraculously, no one was harmed in the incident. Investigators continue to look into the credibility of Mr. Hope's tire pressure gauge and his general reluctance to actually use it.

Guess who was sitting in the left rear of the Hopemobile, not to mention any names but his last name starts with a thaw....... I wonder if this flat was due to the oft heard rumor that Andy uses junk yard tires on his daily beater. Where's the picture of the H22 motored CRX with race suspension that rattled Bernardo and I all the way from Thawley's home to the photo shoot?

Nah, that's a single loop CX jack. The GSR jack has 2 loops so it doesn't bind on the hook so bad.
