hey i am having some trouble with my h22..it will start and idle fine but once you tap the gas pedal it stalls out? dose anybody know why this may be?

and is it possible to run a h22 prelude on a h23 ecu...until i get my new one?

its possible to run it but if u do, keep it under 3k rpm to be safe, note u will not have vtec of course

as for the stalling, so anytime u give it any gas other than just letting it sit at idle it stalls??? or if u rev it real quick when it falls back down to idle it stalls???

no...that the odd part? the car isnt throwing any cel's

 

try checking the TPS voltage at fully closed and then at WOT. I believe it is 0.5 at closed or idle....and 4.5 volts at WOT..I had the same problem and adjusting it was what solved that problem.

 

i am also thinking that i may have the tps and the egr plugs switched... what color wires do the tps have? and how do you adjust the tps.. i thought there was only one way to put it in....

 

I have a JDM H22A so the TPS has screws and is not Riveted like the USDM ones.... I dont know the wire colors off hand.. do you have a helms manual??

 

no i dont have a manual... i couldent find anyone who sold them for my car around where i live...
