Default my ITR dyno comparasions- 2.5years of history

Building GOOD usable on a naturally aspirated car is not easy.
for the last two and a half years i have been slowing modding the ITR.
i live in NZ, fuel is quite crappy here

Image 1: About 2 years ago, i put my ITR on the dyno to tune the VAFC2.

Before: <FONT COLOR="red">119kw</FONT>
4-1 extractor, ARC intake chamber, Kakimoto exhaust system.

After: <FONT COLOR="red">135kw</FONT>
dyno tuned VAFC2 with above mods.

Image 2: About a year ago, i went to get my car re-tuned again.

Before: <FONT COLOR="red">135kw</FONT>
4-1 extractor, ARC intake, Kakimoto exhaust, vafc2

After: <FONT COLOR="red">135kw, but increased torque</FONT>
<u>mods from before:</u> 4-1 extractor, Kakimoto exhaust system.
<u>mods changed:</u> ARC intake chamber to a custom SRI.
<u>mods added:</u> test pipe, Spoon headgasket, lightweight pulley, air-con belt removed.
dyno tuned VAFC2 with above mods.

Image 3: About 2months ago, i went to get my car re-tuned again.

Before: <FONT COLOR="red">135.2kw</FONT>
<u>mods from before:</u> 4-1 extractor, test pipe, Spoon headgasket, lightweight pulley, air-con belt removed, vafc2.
<u>mods changed:</u> SRI to Mugen intake, Kakimoto exhaust to buddyclub spec 2 exhaust + mugen muffler
<u>mods added:</u> Spoon TB, external coil.
<FONT COLOR="darkblue">*135.8kw was enough power to run a 13.7s</FONT>

After: <FONT COLOR="red">143.8kw</FONT>
dyno tuned VAFC2 with above mods.

1.<FONT COLOR="red">119kw</FONT> first dyno (I/H/E untuned)

2. <FONT COLOR="red">143.8kw</FONT> last dyno (header/ revised intake&exhaust, + small bits a peices.)
Standard Internals.


(some graphs have been photochoped together to compare)

hopefully one day in the future, i will crack the engine open to start doing the internals.

great write up! this ceratainly gives people a few things to compared to

thx for sharing

but like to make sure in NZ u guys have jdm imported itr's? or aus specs?

Aaahhh....figured it out.

1 Horsepower = 0.7457 kW

Or roughly you went from 160whp to 193whp

that's weird
i always thought R will lose power as it gets older..
but surprisingly your car gained power
you must have a good R

yeah it is a 1996 JDM ITR.

when i got it, it had about 87,000kms.... now it has 122,000kms... getting a little older
