Default shifting super ruff on two trannys

After talking to forbidden, whos shifter i have, he said it might be my cables. Right now i am running the accord ones that were stock, he said i should go to the preludes ones because they will work better for me. The thing is that when i am driving hard and high rpms, i cant shift into 3rd, and 4th/5th grinds over 3000 rpms. The clutch is engaging ok, i checked, so im at a loss. Anybody got any insight?

syncromesh!!!!! I put some in my tranny since I had the same problem it felt the same for a few weeks then on day I shifted into 5th at 5000 rmp and NO GRIND I was happier then a pig in ****. It kinda just happened too, I thought it wouldn't work but once it was "broken in" a bit its shifted like a champ ever since I got the regular stuff btw, non friction moddified from ac delco

My advice is you bleed the slave cylinder some and then do a pedal adjustment on it. The combination of could be causing some problems for you. I know when mine didnt completely disengage I had some grinding issues and I thought it was all fine. I just had a little free play in the pedal... Not much at all, but it sure made a difference...
