Does your prelude have a 4th ecu plug (plug C)? if so, what the hell is that plug used for?
Did US 4WS preludes come in automatic only or 5speed as well?

No, it has only 3 plugs no matter if it is USDM/JDM or european version.
As I know the 4th plug is used on TCS (traction control) equipped JDM models - very very rare.
But there must be some difference in ECU for 2WS and 4WS model, as they have different part number, they are even marked 2W or 4W on the side.
However nobody knows what is the difference, even if you put a 2W ecu into a 4WS car, the 4WS system is working correctly...
