When i rev the car, it rev's funny.
Hi guys, Man my shell is coming together reaaalll nicely! It'll be cool cuz i'm making a detailed photo journal type **** so im keepin track of everything im doin. (I'm like a car newbie first attempt at reviving a shell from bottom up).
Anyway, put the carpet and padding in today, the interior looks way nice..
Okay that doesn't have **** to do with what im going to ask. I started my car, and it was in neutral and I had put some injector cleaner in it to clean up the injectors. I pressed the gas and gradually raised RPM's up to 6,000. Weird thing is, I took it straight to 6k and let my foot off the pedal and I was watching the rpm's and it doesn't decrease consistantly, it hesitates like at 5k, and then goes down, hesitates at 3k. The hesitations are only a split second but i know its not right. It does this when bringing up the RPM also.
Oh yeah I also noticed a bunch of water was literally spitting like 3 feet behind my exhaust pipe if that means anything.

1) How long had the car been running when you put the injector cleaner in?
2) When was the last time you had previously started the car?
3) How much injector cleaner did you put in?

well, I stuck the injector cleaner in, and then started the car like 5 minutes after.
The last time i previously started my car was like 5 days ago.
I put about a little more than 1/3rd of the bottle into a 1/3rd of a tank of gas...
- For starters i'm going to buy some gas tomorrow in the little jug thingy and put it in the car cuz i can't drive it to the gas station as of yet. (not registered)
But yeah, there is a loot lot lot of water coming out of the exhaust... Where is this water coming from? The car has been in my garage for like 2 months or more

Hydrogen and Oxygen get together and make H20 ------ water
Are you saying you revved your car to 6k when it was cold? (If you let it warm up for only 5 minutes then it was cold)

yeah its not good for the motor to rev it up high b/c the oil hasnt heated up and parts inside the motor arent being lubricated the way the would be if the oil was warm and ... "flowie"
hmm oh okay i understand now...
Does anyone know why it's doing the weird thing though?
Could it be because of the fuel additive?

Your idle will fluctuate when warming up. Just let it warm up and I am sure it will go away. Oh, and having water come out of you exhuast is a good thing. Sure beats oil, blue smoke, white smoke, etc.

That usually happens when your rings are shot beyond belief. I have seen it before on a neighbours EF. The kid is really dumb
. I really don't know why I help him out on the weekends. I guess I just feel bad for him because he is just so dumb. I am teaching him the ways and de-ricing him
