distributor?

Default distributor?

if im doing a mini me, do i need a dizzy from a vtec motor? converting my car to obd1 with p28 and y8 head. i picked up a 92-95 dx dizzy because it bolts up to that head, and its obd1, but im wondering if the distributors have any internal parts that deal with vtec, that the dx dizzy might not have.

There aren't any VTEC-related parts in the distributor, but the OBD0 has a different sensor on the inside than the OBD1 and OBD2. So you did right by getting the OBD1 distributor for the P28 you're using.

u use ur same one, u need to cut and splice the injector wires distributor wires and cut the injector resistor box wires and put them all together and tape them, and a obdo to obd1 coversion harness

Stop talking, we don't misinform people here.

You DO NOT cut and tape them all together to run OBD1 injectors.
You get an injector block off plug, de-pin the pins and plug them into THIS plug:
