Default dyno visit

Well I shared with ef-honda.com first, but I'm in need of a video host so I can post up my quicktime video of the run, so here I am.

Well, I wanted to dyno my car after the exhaust and cat. converter delete pipe, lucky us, we had a car show this past weekend.
On a dynojet from D&D mobile dyno. I give or take about 5hp.

Mods:
-a healty first gen b16, denso irdiums, ngk wires, 18* of advanced ign timing, etc
-hasport 4-2-1 header
-60 mm SS straightpipe
-60 mm rs-r catback
3 Consistent runs.
first run was a lil slow b/c i told him to take it to 8k on the tach, which was about 7500 rpm realistically

beforehand w/a ghetto exhaust and a old cat

I HAVE two videos of the car on the dyno for that day, they are both 25-25 mb a piece, let me know if you can host it, or bug me on aim, or email if you want it sent to you.

I was pretty impressed. ops:
So she's still healty and calls for more mods, or no, paint first.

DYNO VIDEO WILL BE UP for 7 days or so. Some free hosting service.
Dyno run

Needs a little tuning but it looks great.

Give me a cookie and I'll host for you. I may wind up resizing the videos, I'll have to check on server space, maybe not. PM or email me.

Check your IM.

With decent cams and decent ECU tuning (turbo edit/hondata) you could really have a STRONG engine. I think with just ECU tuning and cams you can get another 10+ at the floor and make the whole power band stronger.

Those sure are good numbers for a 1st gen B16... you have a special motor.

Real good numbers. I have the basically the same mods and made almost the exact same power. Ended up with 160hp and 118tq. Definitely some strong 1st gen B16's out there

car sounds really nice. smooth and deep. almost vr6 sound what do you think makes it sound that way? RSR? HASPORT Header? btw on dyno pull your car accel is smooth and sounds like you have a stron motor. what mil 1 or 5 might be the XSI like mine which has 10hp then the standard b16a?

It's the xsi b16. Pre-obd still so I believe only 160 flywheel hp stock, right? You can see the extra dashpots on the IM.
