So even since I did my mpfi conversion, I've been running SO SO rich you don't even know. The backfires when you let off the gas are loud and stong. My gas mileage sucks. I know that Im running a Fuel injection system from a 1.6 so naturally it has to run rich. But my question is, what can I do to alleviate this?? HF injectors? I'm using an 88 pm6.

in my case i would try to get a adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a fuel pressure gauge... to see how if i can adjust it..

 

I would check your o2 and make sure it didn't get fouled up with carbon. -Jon
