y8 manifold

i'm puttting a y8 manifold on a z6. which gasket do i use?

doesnt matter all gasket in the d-series are interchangeable....

well i ask because the two gaskets are different and i'm getting a mad vacum leak at the manifold. i've the z6 gasket on now. when i spray carb cleaner at the seal it sucks in and bogs down.

i would use hondabond or gasket sealer... are you using new or old... your suppose to replace them... if not i would really use gasket sealer...

it's a new gasket. the car is steady idling at 2k and sucking air.

i just found out that 99-00 Y8 IM has like air injection system that will cause massive vacuum leak...

see if you got a 99-00 for sure... and plug that hole up...

i figured it out. i was plugging the one hole in the center instead of the four at each injector.
