Default DC2 swap (pics)

So i have been running an LS/VTEC in my car for about 8 months and it has always burned oil. But recently it has gotten really bad. It was at about a quart every week and a half. The bottem end was rebuilt but not by a very reputable shop i came to find out afterwards. The bottem end was stock except PR3 pistons. the head was all stock internally.I was also running a skunk2 program. The motor was never tuned (yea i know =/ ) I decided to swap out my motor for a 99 b20z until i can rebuild my ls/vtec. my question is can anyone tell me from the pics where i was burning oil? It is most likely the piston rings but a second opinion would be nice. I doubt it was the valve seals the head is a 98. Any help would be great. Now on to the pics

my oil consuming ls/vtec

all out

thanks to hookedonvtec for his help (look at my new vtec head!)

b20z ready to be dropped in

almost done

my poor ls/vtec

after taking off the head

any suggestions?
