Need help quick
don't know how long it's been sitting. Pull the valve cover and see if the valve train is dry or not.
edit: just keep on turning her over by hand and see if the creaking goes away. Can it turn over at all or not?

Is the transmission housing attached? I'm asking because a buddy of mine had the same problem. It turned out the the pressure plate wasn't bolted on properly and it was rubbing on the inside of the clutch housing and basically dug too much in the housing and was just stuck. It gave us the exact same syptoms as if the engine was seized.
Otherwise I really can't think of anything else. Sometimes having the spark plugs screwed in the head makes it hard to crank over, but I'm assuming you know that considering you knew to put some oil in the cylinders. Besides that I really don't know what to tell you.
Free bump for anyone who might have another idea what the problem might be. Hope your engines not seized.

Tranny is attached I just bought the motor like 5 days ago. Wont crank. No spark plugs. The oil filter has the date 12-2-03 on it so I am guessin that is how long it has not been in a car. Maybe moisture got into it? It has been garaged and there is a bit of oil under the valve cover.
Took all transmission parts off the black and no go. Its locked up tried jumping the starter, crank pulley belt, strap wrech on the crank pulley. Nothing.
You can poor all the oil you want down the spark plug hole, but if the motor has been sitting for a long time, you need to oil the rotating assembly. put it on a engine stand and pull the oil pan and put some oil on the bearings. done and done.
