I am pretty sure only ZC specific and D16a1 valvetrain components will work in the ZC. I am 100% sure the b series valvetrain will not. DH racing can modify the head to accept b18a valvetrain components but imo itis not worth it due to the reputation of dh racing.

I have seen you have posted alot of these questions. Here is a little rule of thumb.

Keep the b series parts with the b series and the d series parts with the d series. There are some exceptions but they are few and far between.

The d16 sohc valvetrain will not work. You need valvetrain specifically for the dohc zc which apparently no one makes any valvetrain parts for the zc. If anyone knows of someone that does offer zc valvetrain please post the info.

these guys make parts for about any honda setup you can think of. http://www.jgenginedynamics.com/HOME%20PAGE

i have not personally used them yet, but i am seriously thinking about getting some dual springs and titanium retainers for my a6. they specifically list zc stuff too. good luck
